Smíðaverkstæðið

My name is Ingrid, and i am, as you might have figured out a foreinger in this country, a swedish foreigner. I came here in january last year, not really with any plan, i had met this strange but fantastic icelandic guys in Hong Kong the year before, and decided that i am gonna move to iceland, for a while, to see what that does to me. I thought i was going here for a short while, to earn some money and then go travel again, but...

... but.. i got a job at the national theatre here in reykjavik. And that was not really part of the plan! I love theatre, and i have always been at the theatre, my dad is working at a theatre in sweden, and i have been working there for many years too. But again the plan was not to stay, but i couldnt resist, and now i am working on Smidaverkstaedinn as a stagemanager.
I wouldnt say that i love living in iceland, but i love theatre and that is enough!
